Prof. Dr. Plamena Zlateva Associate professor Dr. Plamena Zlateva is with the Department of Informatics at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Sofia, Bulgaria (https://www.unwe.bg/en/). Zlateva is the leading researcher at the Science Research Center for Disaster Risk Reduction at UNWE. She hods M.Sc. degrees in Biotechnology and Applied Mathematics from the Sofia Technical University, and also in Economics from the Sofia University St. Kl. Ohridski, and Ph.D. degree in Manufacturing Automation from the Institute of Conrol and System Research, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS). Assoc. prof. Zlateva is a member of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP, http://ifip.org/) as the Bulgarian National Representative to IFIP TC9 “ICT and Society”. Her main areas of academic and research interest are Information Technology, Integrated Information Systems for Disaster Risk Reduction, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematical Modeling and System Identification, Risk Assessment and Management.
