Klaudija Lebar
Technical secretary of the UNESCO Chair on Water-related Disaster Risk Reduction
Dr. Klaudija Lebar is a researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering. She finished the study of Water management and municipal engineering in 2014 and obtained PhD in 2021 with a research title “Influence of hydrometeorological and vegetation conditions on the dynamics of nitrate flushing2. She has experience from several research project, covering the topics about development of a method for the estimation of benefits of constructional and non-constructional measures for flood risk reduction, development of a shared cross-border methodology for single and multi-risk assessment (BORIS project), development of the methodology for the design hydrograph definition, river connectivity (Ljubljanica connects project, DANUBE4all) etc. As a researcher, she is also frequently involved in the hydrological field measurements and statistical and other methods of data analysis. She is a member and technical secretary of the UNESCO Chair on Water-related Disaster Risk Reduction.
