Head of Department for Risk, Disaster Management and Strategic Planning at Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, N. Macedonia

Education at the Faculty of Law – Justiciary Major at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje culminated in graduation as the inaugural student of the generation. Subsequent academic pursuits led to post-graduate studies in International Law at the University of Belgrade and International Law and International Politics at the Faculty of Law – Iustinianus Primus in Skopje. A master's thesis titled "Analysis of Reasons, Procedures for Establishment and Operation of the International Criminal Court for Former Yugoslavia" was defended under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Denko Malevski. The journey continued with a doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Law in Skopje, titled: "Establishment of the International Criminal Court and its Importance for Smaller Countries," mentored by Prof. Dr. Ljubomir Frchkovski. Professional endeavors include stints as an Attorney at Law, roles in consulting services, and, since 1994, service at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (IZIIS) as the Head of the Administration and Services Department. International academic exposures encompass visits to various universities worldwide. Furthermore, from 2015 to 2018, expertise was lent to the Council for Public Procurements of the Republic of North Macedonia. From 2004 onwards, the position of Secretary General at UKIM - IZIIS in Skopje has involved active participation in numerous committees, aiding in the development of regulations and by-laws. Daily tasks consist of analyzing legal and bylaw acts, their harmonization, and implementation. Collaborations extend to a wide spectrum of governmental, public, and institutional bodies in the country. Given this extensive background, there is ample experience, knowledge, and willingness to contribute actively to the ResiliEnhance project. Additionally, past engagement in various youth organizations during academic years underscores a history of activism and leadership.
